How does the process work when purchasing custom closets and storage?
After contacting us at ClosetsPlus, our designer will contact you within 24 hours to setup an in home consultation. We will come to your house and get some inspiration from you to see what you’re looking for. We will also take measurments of the rooms to ensure a custom fit. After the consultation, our designer will render your closet or room within 72 hours or sooner (business days), and send you a proposal (cost estimate), along with your 2D and 3D renderings of the rooms. Once approved, signed, and 50% deposit is given, we will offer you an installation date. After installation is complete, the final 50% invoice is sent and you can enjoy your new storage system!
Are your consultations free & how long are they?
Yes, our in-home consultations and renderings are free, and typically take between 30 mins to an hour depending on amount of rooms.
What kind of material do you use?
Most of our products use 3/4″ laminated white melamine which also comes in a variety of other colors. We also offer other options such as MDF, plywood, and real wood options.

We are located in Bonita Springs, FL off of Bonita Beach Rd. at 28731 S. Cargo Ct, Unit 1.
What areas do you service?
We currently serve all of Collier County, Lee County, and Charlotte County.
Do I need to have a budget?
No, you do not need to have a budget, however having one will aid us in managing your expectations.
What to expect on installation day?
Our in house installer(s) will show up at 8.am. on installation day. We ask that the rooms being installed are clear of any personal belongings. The installer(s) will come in, lay down protective blankets and stage all the material for each room. After installation is complete, they will clean the unit, and vacuum any debris leftover.
How long does an installation take?
Depending on size of rooms and cost, installations can take anywhere from half a day to a week for a complete installation.
Do you offer any additional accessories?
We sure do! We offer many optional accessories for your storage solution. From LED lighting, to valet rods, wire baskets, hamper pullouts, jewlery trays and much more! See some of what we offer here, or ask your designer: ClosetsPlus Accessories.
Can I provide my own hardware?
Yes, if you have your own, knobs, handles, etc, we will install them for you. However, the client must provide the hardware on first day of installation. Please check with your designer to ensure the hardware is compatible with our system.
Do you offer different colors?
Yes, we offer numerous color options as well as texture options to help bring your room together. Let your designer know if there is a particular color, texture or wood grain you are looking for and they will be able to provide you with examples during your consultation.
Do you paint after install is complete?
We will spackle any holes in the wall. However, as a courtesy we will touch up the spackle marks if you provide the paint. For best results, it is best to have someone come in remove your wire shelving or old closet system and have it repainted for professional results before your installation date.
Do you outsource anything outside of the USA?
No, All of our material is sourced from our local community in Ft Myers, and Bonita Springs.
What other rooms can you customize?
Essentially any room in the house. We are known for closets, pantries, home offices, garages, media rooms, hobby rooms, murphy beds and much more. Take a look in our Gallery to be inspired.
Where do you mill your parts?
Our parts are milled on a CNC machine directly behind our warehouse to ensure perfect fitment. Everything is cut to exact dimensions.
Can I order extra shelving for my closet or storage space after installation is complete?
Absolutely yes! You can reach out to your designer or call us.
Do you remove wire shelving?
Yes, as a courtesy we will remove your original wire shelving.
Will you tear out an older existing unit?
Yes, however tear outs with an existing custom closet will incur additional charges as the removal process can be tedious and timely.
Do you provide commercial installations?
Yes, we can do anything from retail offices, to salons. From custom office desks, to showroom installations.
How much weight can the shelving support?
There are various factors for this question. Typical floor mount systems, depending on the width can hold up to 50lbs. Our wall mounted systems can withstand 30lbs. Again, based on width of the shelves. The wider the shelving the less is can hold.
Do you provide backing with your units?
We can for an additional cost. Otherwise the backing of the unit is the physical wall.
